Maxime Brulein’s zodiac sign is Aquarius. According to astrologers, the presence of Aries always marks the beginning of something energetic and turbulent. They are continuously looking for dynamic, speed and competition, always being the first in everything - from work to social gatherings. Thanks to its ruling planet Mars and the fact it belongs to the element of Fire (just like Leo and Sagittarius), Aries is one of the most active zodiac signs. It is in their nature to take action, sometimes before they think about it well.
Maxime Brulein was born in the Year of the Pig. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Pig are extremely nice, good-mannered and tasteful. They’re perfectionists who enjoy finer things but are not perceived as snobs. They enjoy helping others and are good companions until someone close crosses them, then look out! They’re intelligent, always seeking more knowledge, and exclusive. Compatible with Rabbit or Goat.
Belgian born director Maxime Brulein got bitten by the movie bug at age 3 while watching his very first movie: Disney's Robin Hood. When his parents gave him his first Single 8mm camera at the age of 12, those around him automatically became his regular cast, which most of the time consisted of his sister and all his female cousins.
After studying film in Brussels and graduating with a Master's Degree in Tourism, Recreation and Marketing, he traveled around the world, living in place like Miami Beach, Germany, Italy and Tunisia. He finally landed in Los Angeles, after working as the Assistant Production Coordinator on the Jon Voight film 'A Dog of Flanders', which was shot entirely in Belgium.
Brulein has written and directed over a dozen short films, including the award-winning short 'The Painting'. His feature-film 'Postcard from the Palace' is slated for a 2020 release.
