The only son of a Japanese American father and Japanese mother, Keiji was born and raised in Torrance, CA. He started acting his junior year at North High School where he fell in love with Theatre Arts.
One day, he saw an audition flier hanging around his high school and decided to give it a shot. Not expecting anything, he lands a role in his high school play. His teacher awarded him "Best Actor" that same play.
Shiraki was later placed into the Advanced Theatre class his senior year skipping all the prerequisites and continued to act in school productions. While attending college studying Journalism and taking acting classes, Keiji started to go out to auditions and started solely focusing on film, television and commercials.
