Her full name is Geeta Gerardo Vij. She is the niece of famous TV/ film actress Rama Vij.Geeta has grown up watching Indian films especially from the black and white era. Since her early age, she has taken a great fascination towards Bollywood music and dance.
Unable to find a classical dance teacher in Denmark, she started to learn dance by imitating legendary actresses like Vyjayanthimala and Waheeda Rehman. She got opportunity to learn Bharat Natyam from the renowned teacher Guru Tulsidas Mangeshkar.
Besides that, she has also learnt traditional Filipino dances.Geeta Vij began acting in her pre-school only and has actively participated since then in various theatre groups. She is a graduate in BA Hons, Fashion & Business from London College of Fashion.
