1st generation Chinese American born & raised in San Francisco. He was the youngest of four siblings. His father worked in Import trading and his mother worked in a sewing factory. Danton was introduced to Hung Sing Choy Li Fut Kung Fu at the age of 14, and went on the learn many other systems including Buk Sing Choy Li Fut, Hung Ga, Praying Mantis, Chin Na, Tai Chi & Muay Thai.

His love of martial arts lead him to being discovered by a Hong Kong production visiting San Francisco in 1995. He was offered a co-starring role and promptly fell in love with the movie industry. The rest was history as he worked hard to learn every aspect of film production.

He found his place in the stunt community in 2005 and was voted in as member of the San Francisco Stunt Association.
