Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Carlos Alperin developed since childhood a passion for arts, films and travel. In the 70's he studied Fine Arts at Jerusalem's Betzalel Art School followed by Film Studies at Tel Aviv's Beit Tzvi.

After a long career in scriptwriting, editing and production of documentaries and feature films in Argentina, Israel and Japan, Carlos moved in 1988 to Brisbane, Australia, where he studied at Griffith University for a MA in Film & TV.

Carlos Alperin has 24 years experience in producing, marketing, financing and selling entertainment products at international markets. Since 1994 Carlos has participated at more 77 film and TV markets and festivals including AFM, Berlin, Cannes, LA Screenings, Filmart, Ventana Sur, TIFFCOM, Busan, 37 Degrees South, Shanghai Int'l Film Festival, MIPTV, MIPCOM, MipDoc, MIP Junior, IDFA and Hot Docs where he licensed hundreds of films to international buyers.

He wrote, directed and produced episodes of the animated TV series "Cosmo Kids" (recipient of the Australian Writers' Guild, Monte Miller Award), "The Pup Pups" developed with Scottish TV, and "Bilby Blastoff.

"In 2002, Carlos founded Galloping Films as a production and sales agency company. In 2005, he wrote and produced the multi-award winning documentary film "Raul The Terrible" directed by twice Academy Award nominee David Bradbury.

In 2009 he produced the thriller "ICU" directed by Aash Aaron (Australia), in 2010 the comedy "The Cost Of Living" directed by Veronica Craven (United States) and in 2018 he served as executive producer of the feature film "Sargent Matacho" directed by William Gonzalez (Colombia).

The film was officially selected by 130 film festivals and was the winner of 32 international awards.In 2019, Carlos rebranded his business to include the production of video games and started trading as Galloping Entertainment.

As a Producer, Sales Agent and Financier, Carlos provides a powerful combination of creative energy and business savvy. He is an outstanding negotiator with an experienced eye for content and talent.Carlos served 3 times as Juror at the International Emmy Awards.
