She stared modelling as a young girl and was crowned the 1990 Miss Teen USA. As an actress she has appeared in numerous movies, such as ‘Higher Learning’, ‘Billy Madison’, ‘Mortal Kombat’, ‘House on Haunted Hill’, ‘Shopgirl’, ‘The Wedding Planner’ and ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’, to name a few. The actress has also done considerable television work. She played the role of Lisa Fenimore in the series ‘Santa Barbara’ from 1992 to 1993. She also starred in the TV programs ‘Saved by the Bell’ and ‘The $treet,’ as well as guest-starred in the series ‘Murder, She Wrote’, ‘Frasier’, ‘Beyond the Glory’, ‘Carpoolers’ and ‘Jake in Progress’. As a singer, Wilson released the albums ‘I Only Wanna Be with You’ and ‘Gimme a Kiss’. She has also been featured in Tommy Shane Steiner’s song ‘What We're Gonna Do About It’ from his album ‘Then Came the Night’

Wilson was born and raised in the small coastal town of Gold Beach, Oregon, United States, the daughter of Kathy and Dale Wilson. While in high school, she competed on the school's volleyball team. She was crowned Miss Teen USA in 1990 at the age of 17 in Biloxi, Mississippi, and was the second contender from Oregon to win the crown. She graduated from Gold Beach High School in 1991.

2000

Wilson married former ATP professional tennis player Pete Sampras on September 30, 2000. They have two sons, Christian Charles Sampras (born November 21, 2002) and Ryan Nikolaos Sampras (born July 29, 2005). They purchased a home in Bel Air, California in 2014.

2006

Wilson has starred in The Rocky Horror Show (off-Broadway) and was a judge on the 2006 Miss Universe competition. Wilson is also a singer and was featured on Tommy Shane Steiner's debut album Then Came the Night, performing a spoken-word part in "What We're Gonna Do About It". This song reached number 43 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts in 2002.
